I originally was posting this because of the information it contained…I had to do a little of my own Fact Checking, that’s the code name for research. There are two kinds of Covid-19 tests: molecular diagnostic tests, which can identify people with active infections, even when they have no symptoms, and antibody, or serology, tests, which indicate that a person was infected at some point in the past.

According to Christopher Farnsworth, an instructor of pathology and immunology at Washington University School of Medicine, “antibody testing is really helpful in monitoring how widely a virus has spread within a community. Such testing could help determine how many people have recovered from the virus, even if they never had symptoms.”

Thus, antibody tests could potentially play a very important role if and when schools should reopen, or when professional sports will return.

However, the CDC has acknowledged that antibody testing can frequently be inaccurate, especially in populations where there is a low prevalence of the coronavirus.

In fact, under certain scenarios, “less than half of those testing positive will truly have antibodies,” the agency says.

This is particularly dangerous because it could lead to individuals believing they have been infected with the coronavirus, and acting as if they have immunity, when that is not the case.

As a result, the CDC advises that antibody test results should not be used to make decisions related to schools, dormitories, or correctional facilities, and that testing shouldn’t be used to determine immune status in individuals.

I just took a 2nd screenshot from the Johns Hopkins website at 9:45 pm on May 27th, 2020 and in just 1 hour and 9 minutes 125 more people died of COVID-19 in the US 631 have died globally…that actually means 506 deaths outside of the US. The new CoronaVirus is quickly destroyed by sunlight, according to new research announced by a senior US official on Thursday, though the study has not yet been made public and awaits external evaluation.

William Bryan, science and technology advisor to the Department of Homeland Security secretary, told reporters at the White House that “government scientists had found ultraviolet rays had a potent impact on the pathogen, offering hope that its spread may ease over the summer.” The sun helps to prevent a lot of disease, but when you put on things like sunblock, it BLOCKS THE VITAMIN D YOU GET NATURALLY FROM THE SUN! Vitamin D helps prevent skin cancer.

“Our most striking observation to date is the powerful effect that solar light appears to have on killing the virus, both surfaces and in the air”, he said.

“We’ve seen a similar effect with both temperature and humidity as well, where increasing the temperature and humidity or both is generally less favorable to the virus.”

But the paper itself has not yet been released for review, making it difficult for independent experts to comment on how robust its methodology was.

Australia, for example, has had just under 7,000 confirmed cases and 77 deaths — well below many northern hemisphere nations.

The reasons are thought to include that respiratory droplets remain airborne for longer in colder weather, and that viruses degrade more quickly on hotter surfaces, because a protective layer of fat that envelops them dries out faster.

Update To Woman Strangles Her Dog

NEW YORK — An investment firm has fired the white woman seen in a viral video calling the cops on a black man who asked her to leash her dog in New York City’s Central Park.

“I’m going to tell them that there is an African-American man threatening my life,” the woman, who was later identified as Amy Cooper, said in the video just before calling the police.

The widely watched video — posted on Facebook by birdwatcher Christian Cooper and on Twitter by his sister — has sparked accusations of racism.

CNN and CBS News reported Amy Cooper was walking her dog Monday morning while Christian Cooper was bird watching in a wooded area of Central Park called Ramble.

Dogs are supposed to be leashed at all times in that area, according to the park’s website.

Christian Cooper explained in his Facebook post that he had asked the woman to put her dog on its leash. When she refused to, he pulled out dog treats, causing her to scream at him to not come near her dog.

In the video, Amy Cooper can be heard warning him she would call police unless he stopped recording. “I’m going to tell them there’s an African American man threatening my life,” Amy Cooper is heard saying as she pulls down her face mask and struggles to control her dog. How weird that they both have the same last name!!!

“Please call the cops,” Christian Cooper replies.

“There’s an African American man, I’m in Central Park, he is recording me and threatening myself and my dog. … Please send the cops immediately!” she says during the call before he stops recording.

Police say by the time they responded, they were both gone.

Amy Cooper was quickly identified on social media as the video went viral, and the company she works for, Franklin Templeton, announced Tuesday afternoon that she had been fired after the company did an internal review.

“We do not tolerate racism of any kind at Franklin Templeton,” the company’s statement said.

Throughout the entire video, the woman is seen pulling on the dog’s collar instead of just putting a leash on the animal.

The video on Facebook had more than 11,000 shares as of Tuesday afternoon.

Central Park this morning: This woman’s dog is tearing through the plantings in the Ramble.

ME: Ma’am, dogs in the Ramble have to be on the leash at all times. The sign is right there.

HER: The dog runs are closed. He needs his exercise.

ME: All you have to do is take him to the other side of the drive, outside the Ramble, and you can let him run off leash all you want.

HER: It’s too dangerous.

ME: Look, if you’re going to do what you want, I’m going to do what I want, but you’re not going to like it.

ME (to the dog): Come here, puppy! HER: He won’t come to you.

“I videotaped it because I thought it was important to document things,” Christian Cooper told CNN. “Unfortunately we live in an era with things like Ahmaud Arbery, where black men are seen as targets. This woman thought she could exploit that to her advantage, and I wasn’t having it.”

Amy Cooper told CNN that she wanted to apologize publicly.

“I’m not a racist. I did not mean to harm that man in any way,” she said. She added she didn’t mean any harm to the African American community.

“When you’re alone in the Ramble, you don’t know what’s happening. It’s not excusable, it’s not defensible,” she said.

She added that her “entire life is being destroyed right now.”

Abandoned Angels Cocker Spaniel Rescue, Inc. said in a Facebook post that the dog in the video has been surrendered while the dispute is being addressed. He was adopted just a few days earlier.

“The dog is now in our rescue’s care and he is safe and in good health,” the post said.

PLEASE CALL ANIMAL ABUSE!! This woman went berserk after she was asked to follow park rules and put her dog on leash! She strangled her dog while calling the police.
